Two Days Aptitude Workshop on Aptitude Building
The Centre for Management Studies and Research (CMSR) at Ganpat University organized a 2-day Aptitude Workshop on September 21st and 22nd, 2024. This workshop, arranged by the training and placement cell and co-ordinated by Dr. Deepika Oberoi, aimed to equip students with enhanced problem-solving skills and aptitude proficiency essential for competitive exams and future career prospects. The workshop was led by Mr. Rahul Patira, a seasoned Aptitude Trainer with 14 years of extensive experience in the field.
Objectives of the Workshop
The primary objective of this workshop was to strengthen the aptitude skills of the participating students, thereby preparing them for various competitive examinations and job placement tests. Specific objectives included:
- Enhancing logical reasoning and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Building confidence in tackling aptitude-based questions with accuracy.
- Familiarizing students with various types of aptitude questions commonly seen in competitive and placement exams.
- Providing strategies and tips for time management during tests.

- Session 2 (11:15 AM – 1:00 PM): Quantitative Aptitude Strategies

- Lunch Break (1:00 PM – 2:00 PM)
- Session 3 (2:00 PM – 4:00 PM): Logical Reasoning Practice
- Focused practice on sequences, series, puzzles, and syllogisms.
- Tips on identifying patterns and deducing logical conclusions.
- Session 4 (4:15 PM – 5:00 PM): Interactive Q&A and Practice Test
- Students attempted a mock aptitude test followed by a discussion on effective solutions.

- Topics: Algebra, probability, permutations, and combinations.
- Strategies for quick calculations and error minimization.
- Session 2 (11:15 AM – 1:00 PM): Verbal Reasoning and Comprehension
- Techniques for reading comprehension, critical reasoning, and sentence correction.
- Practice exercises for building speed and comprehension accuracy.
- Lunch Break (1:00 PM – 2:00 PM)
- Session 3 (2:00 PM – 4:00 PM): Test-Taking Strategies and Time Management
- How to effectively manage time during aptitude tests.
- Approaches for maximizing scores and handling difficult questions.
- Session 4 (4:15 PM – 5:00 PM): Final Practice Test and Feedback Session
- A comprehensive practice test followed by individual feedback and tips for improvement.
