On 13th October 2023, the Centre for Management Studies and Research students organized ‘Waves 2023’ to welcome the freshers and provide them with an opportunity to interact with their seniors and peers. The theme of the party was Barbie and Oppenheimer. The main purpose of this fresher's party is to create a friendly and inclusive atmosphere, helping new students feel comfortable and excited about their journey at the institution. It's a great opportunity for students to make new friends and build lasting memories.

The evening had a contest for Mr and Miss Freshers, Best Answer, Best Dressed Male and Female, and even Best Performer, It also gave an opportunity to the seniors to showcase their leadership qualities and creative quotient by leading the entire event and taking ownership from conception till the D- Day.  Not only this but the evening was made even more fun and fulfilling by performances of singing, dance, and standups by the newbies and the seniors.

The sequence of the event was as follows -

The first program of the event was a Musical band performed by SEM 1 Students of MBA-Business Analytics, followed by solo singing by Tej. 1st Ramp Walk Round by Freshers then a heartwarming dance performed by freshers Vidhi and Moksha. After that, a new batch of MBA students in Pair did the second round of ramp walk. Faculties of CMSR were the esteemed judges of the Mr. and Ms. Freshers contest. Then an impromptu standup was performed by Swayam followed by a group dance of Sem 1 students. On the basis of the first and second rounds, a total of 6 students were selected to showcase their talent, and the names were announced by our judges. The celebrations were concluded with musical chairs with a twist where two students bagged up the prizes in games.

After that final round of Ramp walk  and Q&A by our judges, the results were declared and

prizes were distributed to the winners and performers by all faculty members.
