Ganpatbhai completed his primary education in the Government Primary school of his village and later on he moved to Junagadh with his elder brother Motibhai for completing remaining schooling education. 


After Matriculation, Ganpatbhai took admission in reputed M. G. Science College of Ahmedabad and like many enthusiastic and talented Indian youngsters of those times; Ganpatbhai also cherished the dream of going to USA to build his bright future. As he was immensely interested in Chemical engineering, he applied to several universities of USA for admission and finally he got admission offer from Iowa State University. He took admission in entirely new course in Electronics Engineering at Calpoly, Pomona in 1966. He completed his electronics education in 1969. 


He started his career as a design engineer and worked in various companies i.e. US Aviation Industry, Lockheed at Azuza, CA, Abbot Transistor Lab in Culver City and Burroughs Corporation a large computer system manufacturing company, but he had a dream to become an entrepreneur and his dream turned into reality in the picture of Cherokee International a world class company having more than 1500 employees. He was brought up in a simple family and has seen different shades of life. Merely because of his qualities of hard work and diligence, he has excelled in all his ventures. The quality of charity was engraved in him by his mother since his childhood. With the cultural seeds to contribute back to the society, he selected the field of education, with the inspiration from his wife Manjuben and his three daughters. He firmly believes that his association with Ganpat University as Patron-in-Chief is undoubtedly one of his best investments in his life he has ever made. He is the vital driving for day-to-day development and progress of Ganpat University.
